Online GCSE courses
Online GCSE courses let adults study Ofqual regulated GCSE content by distance learning, then sit the same exams as school pupils at an approved centre. GCSEs remain the qualification most employers, colleges and universities name explicitly, particularly in English and Maths, which is why so many adults return to them rather than an equivalent qualification. Studying online means working through the same specification set by AQA or Pearson Edexcel in your own time, with structured units, mock assessments and tutor marked feedback.
The exam itself must still be sat in person, since GCSE exams are not available remotely, but your provider will help you register as a private candidate at an approved centre near you for the May or June series.
