Our commitment
Lift College aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA across this website and our online learning platform. Accessibility is considered as part of design and code review for every new page and feature.
What we have in place
- A skip-to-content link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Semantic headings, landmarks and labels so pages make sense when read aloud.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for body text and interactive elements.
- Layouts that reflow for zoom up to 400% and for small screens.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation, menus and the checkout.
Known limitations
- Some older PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We are replacing these over time and can supply an accessible version on request.
- Podcast episodes may not all have transcripts yet. Transcripts are being added as episodes are refreshed.
- Some embedded third-party content, such as payment forms, is controlled by the provider and may have its own accessibility characteristics.
