Common questions from learners

  • How do I contact a Lift College adviser?

The fastest route is our contact page: email info@liftcollege.co.uk or book a phone callback online. Advisers are UK-based and respond inside one working day.

  • I have forgotten my login password. What do I do?

Use the "Forgot password" link on the learner login screen. A reset email arrives within a few minutes. If it does not arrive, check your junk folder or email info@liftcollege.co.uk from the address you enrolled with and we will reset it manually.

  • How do I update my payment details or change my plan?

Log in, open Account · Billing, and edit your card or subscription. To pause, cancel or switch from a monthly plan to a one-time payment, email info@liftcollege.co.uk and we will action it inside one working day.

  • When will my tutor reply to my submission?

Assessment feedback is returned inside five working days for most qualifications. Level 5 and above may take up to seven working days. You will see the timeline for each submission in your learner dashboard.

  • How do I book an exam for a qualification that needs one?

Functional Skills exams, GCSEs, A Levels and Access to HE end-point assessments run through approved centres. Your course page and induction pack list your options. Our adviser team can book on your behalf if you prefer.

  • I need to defer or extend my course. Is that possible?

Yes. Most learners get a free deferral on request during the first 12 months. Email info@liftcollege.co.uk with your reason and preferred new end date and we will confirm the extension in writing.

  • How do I raise a complaint?

Email info@liftcollege.co.uk with the word "complaint" in the subject line, or ask any adviser to raise one on your behalf. We follow a two-stage process: informal resolution inside five working days, then formal review by a director if unresolved. You can also escalate to your awarding body if you remain dissatisfied.

  • What is your refund policy?

You have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period from the date of enrolment. During this window you receive a full refund provided you have not started assessed work. After 14 days, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis against the terms in your enrolment agreement.
