Sector fit, answered
Common questions when choosing or combining sectors within one employer account.
How do we know which sector fits our team?
Most employers already know their primary sector, but mixed workforces are common. Tell us your headcount and roles on a discovery call and we will map each group to the right sector and qualification level.
Can we mix learners from different sectors in one cohort?
Yes. A single employer account can sponsor learners across any combination of sectors and qualification levels. Billing and dashboard reporting stay consolidated regardless of how many sectors you use.
Does the healthcare content align with CQC requirements?
Yes. Our health and social care qualifications are mapped to CQC fundamental standards and the Care Certificate framework, so completion evidence can support your CQC inspection file.
Does the education and childcare content align with DfE requirements?
Yes. Our education and childcare qualifications are designed against current DfE early years and school-support frameworks, including ratio-qualifying Level 3 routes for nursery practitioners.
Do learners need functional skills before starting a sector qualification?
Not always. Some Level 3 and above qualifications recommend or require English and maths at Level 2 as a prerequisite. Your adviser will flag this during enrolment planning so you can sequence functional skills first if needed.
What if our sector is not listed?
Our catalogue extends beyond these four featured sectors, including professional services, hospitality and retail. Tell us your sector on a discovery call and we will confirm which qualifications and awarding bodies fit.
