Where the Paramedic Science pathway leads
The pathway prepares you for paramedic science degrees approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Since 1 September 2021 the HCPC entry threshold for paramedics has been a bachelor's degree with honours. Sheffield Hallam's BSc Paramedic Science (2027 to 2028) normally asks for a science based Access diploma with 15 Level 3 credits at Distinction. The National Careers Service notes that a full driving licence is usually expected by the end of paramedic training, so plan for that alongside your diploma.
