About this qualification

What you'll learn

Behind every well-run care home or domiciliary care service is a manager who understands both the regulatory framework and the practical realities of leading a care team. The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care is the qualification that prepares you for that role and satisfies the qualification requirement for CQC registration as a registered manager.

This Level 5 qualification is awarded by NCFE and quality-assured by Ofqual. It covers leadership and management theory applied specifically to adult social care, including regulatory compliance, safeguarding at a strategic level, workforce development, business and financial operations, and quality improvement.
