Price Beat Promise

Find the same regulated UK qualification cheaper and we will beat the price by 5%. Here are the full rules so you know exactly where you stand.

The promise

If you find the same Ofqual-regulated UK qualification advertised at a lower price by another provider that offers comparable tutor support, we will beat that price by 5% on the equivalent Lift College plan for the first 12 months of your subscription.

What counts as an equivalent qualification

  • The competitor course leads to the same regulated qualification: same awarding body, same level and same specification code.
  • The competitor includes named UK tutor support and marking on every assignment.
  • If exam fees are included in the competitor price, we compare against our Study + Exams tier. If not, we compare against our Study tier.
  • For A-level Biology, Chemistry or Physics, if the competitor offers a CPAC-endorsed course we compare against Study + CPAC. If they do not, only the Study or Study + Exams tiers qualify.

The evidence we need

To submit a claim, please send:

  • A public URL from the competitor showing the qualifying price.
  • A screenshot dated within the last 14 days that shows: course title, awarding body and specification code, price, billing frequency (monthly or annual), and what is included (tutor support, marking, exam fees).
  • The Lift College course URL you want the beat price applied to.

Email your evidence to info@liftcollege.co.ukwith the subject line "Price Beat Promise". We confirm within 1 working day.

How the beat price is applied

  • We calculate 95% of the qualifying competitor price on the equivalent billing frequency.
  • The beat price replaces your standard Lift College price for 12 months from the date it is applied.
  • After 12 months your subscription reverts to the then-current Lift College price. We email you 30 days before this happens.
  • If the competitor price rises during your 12-month period, your beat price does not change.
  • The beat price is applied to the tier and billing frequency in the evidence you submit. You cannot combine it with a different tier or plan.

Exclusions

  • Time-limited flash sales, launch offers and expiring discount codes.
  • Employer-funded, sponsored, ESFA-funded or bursary-funded prices.
  • Marketplace listings (for example Groupon, Wowcher, Reed or comparable platforms).
  • Courses that are not Ofqual-regulated or that lead to non-regulated certificates of completion.
  • Bundled multi-course offers where the equivalent per-course price is not stated.
  • Prices that require add-on purchases (for example separate tutor packs) to match the Lift College offer.
  • The Price Beat Promise cannot be combined with any other Lift College discount or promotional code.

General

  • We reserve the right to refuse a claim where the evidence is unclear, expired, or does not meet these rules. Where we refuse, we explain the reason.
  • We may update the Price Beat Promise. The version that applies to your subscription is the one that was live on the date we confirmed your beat price.
  • This promise is offered by Lift College and is governed by the law of England and Wales.

How much do you beat the price by?

We beat the qualifying competitor price by 5% on the equivalent Lift College plan for the same qualification. The discount is applied to your Lift College subscription for the first 12 months.

What counts as an equivalent qualification?

The competitor course must lead to the same Ofqual-regulated qualification (same awarding body, level and specification code) and offer comparable tutor support and marking. If exam fees are not included in the competitor price, we compare against our Study tier rather than Study + Exams.

What evidence do I need to send?

A public URL from the competitor showing the price, plus a screenshot dated within the last 14 days that clearly shows the course title, price, billing frequency and what is included.

When does the promise not apply?

It does not apply to time-limited flash sales, employer-funded or ESFA-funded prices, marketplace listings (for example on Groupon or Wowcher), courses that are not Ofqual-regulated, or CPAC tiers where the competitor does not offer an equivalent practical endorsement.

How long does approval take?

We confirm within 1 working day. If approved, the beat price is applied from your next payment.
