What is GCSE Physics Paper 1?
Paper 1 is usually the first written paper in separate GCSE Physics. On AQA (8463) it typically covers Energy, Electricity, Particle Model of Matter and Atomic Structure.
AQA, Edexcel and OCR
Topic splits, mark totals and formulae sheets differ by board. Always check the current specification for your sitting year. Papers are commonly about 1 hour 45 minutes.
Revision and tiers
Use past papers with mark schemes under timed conditions. Foundation covers grades 1-5; Higher covers 4-9. Resits require the full qualification (both papers) in the available series.
