liftcollege.co.uk/verify/LC-CPD-000000Which online HACCP certificate do employers accept?
Your employer decides who runs its food safety management system, and the environmental health officer who inspects the business checks that they are trained. Article 5 of Regulation (EC) No 852/2004, retained in UK law and enforced by the food hygiene regulations in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, requires every food business to have a permanent procedure based on the HACCP principles, and Annex II Chapter XII requires those responsible for it to receive adequate training in applying the principles. A good certificate records the course, hours, completion date and refresh date, and can be verified. The content should cover prerequisites, the hazards, the seven principles from hazard analysis to documentation, and how Safer Food, Better Business and CookSafe apply them.
Lift College's certificate does each of these: it names HACCP Training, shows 3 hours of learning, your completion date and a refresh date 3 years on, with a unique number and verification link. The refresher is free.
