Priya heads up Health and Social Care at Lift College. She oversees Level 3 and Level 5 diplomas and works closely with employers and CQC-registered care providers.
About Priya
Priya leads the Health and Social Care faculty at Lift College, covering the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care and the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care. Most of her learners are working in care homes, domiciliary care or the NHS, and are studying to move from carer to senior carer, or from team leader to registered manager.
A large part of her role is working directly with employers and CQC-registered providers, making sure the qualification content lines up with the CQC framework and the day-to-day reality of running a care setting. She also runs the tutor CPD programme for the faculty so feedback and marking stay consistent as the team grows.
Before Lift College, Priya spent six years as a registered manager in adult social care, and three years assessing NVQ and diploma portfolios for a national training provider. She uses that background to keep the qualifications realistic and useful in the workplace.
