Which online health and safety certificate do employers accept?

Your employer decides the health and safety training your workplace needs, based on its own risk assessment. A good certificate records the course, the hours of learning, the completion date and a refresh date, and it can be verified. The content should follow the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, RIDDOR 2013 and COSHH 2002. The 1999 Regulations say training should be repeated periodically where appropriate. Lift College's course and certificate do each of these. The certificate records 3 hours of learning, your completion date and a recommended refresh-by date, with a unique certificate number and a verification link, and the refresher every 3 years is free.
