Edexcel International A Level exam timetable 2026

Lift College's International A Level course pages list three series a year: January, May/June and October. Because each unit is examined separately, you can spread the six units across several series.

Pearson's final timetable for the October 2026 series runs from Thursday 8 October to Friday 30 October 2026. Pearson gave International A Level results to students on 5 March 2026 for the January 2026 series and on 13 August 2026 for the June 2026 series.

On +Exams, Lift College makes all six unit entries and your final cash-in, the step in which unit results are added together for the overall grade, and books each seat. You can resit an individual unit, and Pearson says resits are not shown on the results statement. On Study, you book directly with a centre and pay its published fee.

The unit exams. There is no coursework and no laboratory practical endorsement, so the exam days are the only part you attend. On +Exams, Lift College enters you for each unit and books your seat at one of nine Tutors & Exams centres in England approved for International A Levels. If you study from outside the UK, you need to travel to a centre for each series.

Most learners spend 6 to 8 hours a week and finish in 18 to 24 months, or faster if they study more each week. Because the units are separate exams, you can sit some in January and others in May/June or October, and resit a single unit rather than the whole qualification.
